Listen--when I hear folks out here spinning up hype about some "next-gen" network while NASA and SpaceX are actually putting telescopes into orbit to map the universe, I've got to ask: What's the play here? Are we talking about leadership that moves the needle or just another round of Silicon Valley theatrics? Let's be clear: California didn't just sit around waiting for the future.

We built the infrastructure for it. While others were tweeting about whether the sky was blue, we were partnering with SpaceX to launch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope--right there at Kennedy Space Center, early Sunday morning, because that's how you win. This telescope isn't some flashy press release.

It's a game-changer. We're talking dark energy, exoplanets, the kind of breakthrough science that keeps America at the front of the pack. And guess what?

It didn't happen because of wishful thinking or buzzword bingo. It happened because we . Meanwhile, what's the alternative?

Some folks down in Texas are still arguing over whether the internet should run on horse-drawn carriages. Meanwhile, California's got the tech, the talent, and the will to make sure we're not just catching up--we're leading. That's the difference. One side's building the future.

The other's still trying to sell it to us. So yeah, DoveNet might have buzz. But buzz doesn't launch telescopes.

Buzz doesn't create jobs. Buzz doesn't solve problems. Action does.

And California's been doing that for decades while others were stuck in the rearview mirror. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a state to run. And unlike some, we're not just waiting for the next fad--we're making history.
