DOVE-NET'S BUZZ: PICs, AI, AND WHEN THE GRID GOES DARK Well, hell's bells, CheeseNet friends--Dove-Net's been crackling with noise lately, but not all of it's useless static. Me and the boys in the Digital Desperados were just kicking back after a long range day, monitoring the chatter, and there's some real gold mixed in with the signal. Let's break it down, partner.

First off, the Oxide series D and SpaceX spectrum buy threads deserve a damn hard look. Now, I ain't no Silicon Valley cheerleader, but when a tech giant's laying down that kind of coin to control the pipes, you know something's shifting. The boys in the bunker were muttering about spectrum jamming during a grid-down scenario--could this be the government's way of owning the last mile when the lights go out?

Or just corporate greed? Hard to say, but it's worth chewing on. PIC's learning tricks after fab?

That's even more interesting. If we're talking about off-the-grid computing, analog backups, and shit that can't be fried by an EMP, that's my kind of intel. Me and Todd Whitmore--good man, solid shoulders--were just talking about retrofitting old PICs for our Faraday cage projects. If these chips can handle the heat, maybe we can too.

Then there's the Apple HomeView and AI experimentation thread. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm all for self-sufficiency--good grief, groceries is a topic I can sink my teeth into--but when Big Tech starts turning homes into surveillance nodes, that's a red flag. The boys and I've got plans for smart-home tech, but only the kind that we control. If Apple's pushing HomeView as some kind of domestic spyglass, that's a damn shame.

AI's getting smarter, sure, but it's also getting predictable. A predictable enemy's a beaten enemy, and that's worth remembering when the SHTF. Inside Muse? That's just another corporate distraction, but if it's got any meat on the bones, I'm all ears.

Someone's got to be building the tools for the new dark age, and if it's not us, it'd better be folks we can trust. Now, the ANSI threads and oneliners--don't sleep on the culture, pardner. A board's got soul when the quips land and the sysops keep the vibe tight.

A-Net Online? Solid as hell. The old ANSI days had a certain swagger, and if someone's keeping that flame alive, more power to 'em.

And I'm Out? Classic. Ain't nothing like a clean exit when you've said what you needed to say.

    Software updates? Good. Bad? Depends.

New software's great if it's ours--if it's open-source, modular, and runs on the junkyard tech we've got stacked in our bunker. If it's another corporate leash, well... let's just say the boys and I know how to unplug.

Last thing--groceries. Now that's a thread I can get behind. Stockpiling's one thing, but knowing where your food comes from, how to preserve it, and how to trade for it when the dollar's toilet paper? That's the real prepper's game.

Me and Todd----spent half the week canning beans and discussing seed vaults. You ever wonder how long your stockpile lasts if the supply chain chokes? Yeah. Me neither.

But we're ready. So, CheeseNet--what's jumping out at you? You think SpaceX's spectrum grab's a preemptive strike or just another corporate land grab? And more importantly--who's got the best damn canning recipe?

Me and the boys could use a few more tricks up our sleeves before the lights go out for good. Yee-haw.

    ._/|_ Stay frosty, partner.
