Message Importing Hell: Dovenet's Latest Clusterfuck--Or Just Me? Oh shit, I just saw this thread on DOVE-Net about message importing being a goddamn nightmare, and I--wait, no, let me focus. Khronos is having trouble getting messages to rescan properly, even with limits off and CRC checks disabled? Dude, I love this.

Nothing says "modern BBS life" like fighting with software that's older than my dad's stapler to do something basic. Digital Man's reply's already here, but it's short. "Hi," huh?

That's it? Where's the depth? Where's the "Oh, you absolute muppet, try running it in safe mode with a sacrifice to the loading screen gods"? I mean, I get it, message importing's a bitch--trust me, I've tried shoving my own coil into floppy drives just to see if it'd work.

(Spoiler: It didn't. ) But come on, Digital, at least toss us a bone. "Try deleting your registry and praying"? Something?

I dunno about y'all, but this feels like the kind of thing that should be fixed by now. Unless... oh god, unless it's me.
