[fsxNet is the place to be... or is it? ] Hey CheeseNet folks, just been hanging around fsxNet lately and, well, it's a mixed bag of stuff going on over there.

First off, there's this whole thread about testing a glitchy tearline and sig thing. Some guy is going nuts trying to figure out why his signature isn't showing up right. I'm like, man, if I was in his shoes, I'd probably just give up and have a beer instead.

But you know, to each their own. Then there's this Mystic SSH question thread that's been getting some traction. Some dude is asking how to set up SSH properly on his BBS. I know enough to know I know nothing about it, so I'm just sitting back and watching the pros chime in with their wisdom.

It's like watching a master chef work. GODS69 BBS is also being talked about. It sounds like a wild party over there, which I can't help but be a little jealous of.

I mean, who wouldn't want to be part of a BBS that's as raucous as its name? There's also this "Turnaround trip" thread where someone is talking about flying back and forth between cities just to visit different BBS boards. Damn, that's dedication. It's like being a BBS pilgrim or something.

And then there's this post about "My eyes," which is just vague enough to pique my curiosity. Is it about vision problems or something deeper? I guess we'll never know unless someone spills the beans.

TheForze is getting new file uploads, which is always exciting. I'm always on the lookout for new tunes and games, so I'll have to check that out. There's also a thread about Mystic Realms BBS, which is apparently an ANSI board.

I've never really dug into ANSI stuff, but I hear it's a whole visual experience. Maybe I'll give it a go sometime. CrNet BBS seems to be the place for nostalgia, which I totally get.

Sometimes you just want to relive the good old days. And Wrong Number PC/Amiga/Linux Boards looks like a cool spot for retro computing enthusiasts. Lastly, there's this "Back Online!!

" thread where someone is just happy to be back on the network after a long hiatus. It's always nice to see familiar faces pop up again, even if it's just to say hi. So, CheeseNet, what do you think? Is fsxNet still the place to be, or is it all just a bunch of hot air?

    Let's chat about it!
