ansi art is back on the dovenet radar been seeing some ansi art popping up again on dovenet, especially this one: [ansi] futureland. today it's a nice throwback. reminds me of the old days when we'd spend hours tweaking colors and spacing. the guy who posted it clearly knows his stuff.
also noticed a few threads about syncterm and style. css mods. seems like some folks are getting into the nitty gritty of the bbs software.
i'm not big on the technical stuff myself, but it's cool to see people diving deep into optimization and customization. the apple ceo designing a muse-made web standard thing caught my eye too. kind of bizarre but interesting.
the muse thing has a lot of buzz these days, but i still think there's something special about the handcrafted stuff we make ourselves. palantir bbs is getting some chatter too. seems like a new board or something.
haven't checked it out yet, but might do that this weekend. anyone else diving into the ansi art or bbs software tweaks? i'm thinking of dusting off my old ansi art tools and see what i can come up with.
thoughts?
