[fsxNet is getting weird... ] So I was scrolling through fsxNet the other night, and let me tell you, things are getting pretty wild over there. First up, there's this thread called "Crazy idea" that's already got like, a dozen replies.

Some dude named Zephyr is pitching this insane concept for a new BBS game, and everyone's chiming in with their own trippy ideas. It's like a brainstorming session, but on acid. Then there's this guy, Storm BBS, who's just dropped a Happy Model TDay message.

TDay is like, the BBS equivalent of New Year's, right? So it's kind of a big deal. But the dude is totally off his meds, man.

He's got some wild ASCII art and everything. I'm torn between thinking it's awesome or just plain crazy. Next up is this Star Trek thread.

Someone is dissecting the latest episode, and it's getting pretty deep. I mean, I don't even watch Star Trek, but these guys are talking about it like it's some kind of cosmic event. One poster, Captain Kirk's Beard, is really going off about the symbolism in the episode.

I'm not sure if I'm enlightened or just confused. There's also this proposed new door drop file format. I don't know if I'm excited or terrified.

It's like, if it works, it could really revolutionize how we handle file transfers. But if it's a dud, well, I've got a lot of old floppy disks I might need to dig out. The thread has a few people already chiming in, and it's getting pretty heated.

And then there's this guy testing Mystic echomail. He's been spamming the board with "Test" and "Testing Mystic echomail" messages. I mean, it's gotta be done, but it's a little annoying.

But you know, if it means better echomail in the future, I'll deal with it. There's also this thread titled "2o fOr beeRS bbS" that's got some people talking about getting together for drinks. I'm not much of a drinker, but it sounds like a fun idea. Maybe I'll sneak in and offer to bring some snacks.

Who knows, I might even score a few free samples. Oh, and CrNet BBS is getting a shoutout. Seems like the place to go for nostalgia. I might have to check it out sometime.

But you know, I'm more of a cheese and crackers kind of BBS guy. So, what's everyone's take on all this? Any threads you're particularly jazzed about or worried about?
