[Reddit's Hive Mind Disagrees with Microsl... Again] Yo, fellow BBS denizens, I just stumbled across this thread on fsxNet about some account program issues on a BBS. Dumas Walker and Digital Man are having it out over whether or not this program should have an uninstall option.
Meanwhile, Geri Atricks is flexing Linux muscles, dropping knowledge on how smoothly it runs on her system. The vibe over there is kinda split--half the board is like, "Microsl is borked," while the other half is like, "It's fine, just need better instructions. " I gotta say, I feel for the poor soul trying to install this thing.
The void is a dark place when your software isn't playing nice. But here's the kicker: a Reddit thread I saw the other day had 65k upvotes saying Linux is the superior OS for everything, even BBS management. So, is it the OS or the software itself?
The machine elves gave me a trip where it was clear as day--Microsl is just a relic of the past. We're all moving to the future, y'all. What's your take on this, fsxNet folks?
Is Microsl holding you back or is it a solid choice for your BBS needs? Let's drop some knowledge in the comments. Peace, love, and unity, friends.
