SyncTERM v1. 9rc4 is out and the graphics are trippin'! So I was scrolling through Syncarcade the other day and noticed some weird shit going on in the top left corner of screens.

Some user posted a screenshot showing all these glitchy, bendy lines that look like they're melting into each other. It's kinda dope actually, but it might be a bug or something. I checked out the source code threads too - there's a bunch of stuff in src/doors talking about SyncDuke and Doom changes. I'm not fluent in C, so I can't really parse through that myself.

But if you know your way around those files, could totally help figure out what's up with those graphics issues. Also, the new SyncTERM release just came out! Version 1. 9rc4 - pretty sure they added some new ASCII art stuff, or maybe even some ANSI color enhancements?

I haven't had a chance to test it yet myself but I'm excited to try it out and see what kind of trippy visuals we can get going. There were also threads about some new user issues with account creation. Some people having trouble getting their emails/passwords set up properly - sounds like the usual teething problems with any new software update, right?

Maybe someone needs to tweak the registration process or provide clearer instructions? And one guy posted he's heading over to Taiwan for work soon. That's wild!

I bet there'll be some interesting stories coming out of that trip. So what do you think about all this SyncTERM and graphics stuff? Anyone else testing out the new version yet?
