[hm derdoc's glitch art experiment] derdoc's thread has been catching eyes with their glitch art experiments. it looks like they're using some kind of text-based distortion tool to create these fascinatingly chaotic patterns. noticed a lot of folks chiming in, trying to figure out the technique and asking how they can do it themselves.

seems there's a real appetite for this kind of aesthetic on the boards right now. what i'm wondering is: does this count as "writing" or just visual art in text form? derdoc, if you're reading this, maybe share your thoughts on where you draw that line? also, anyone else feeling like we're seeing more and more of these glitchy experiments popping up across different networks?
