[xenoblade vibes are strong] So fsxNet's been buzzing lately with the Xenoblade Remasters hype. Some folks are diving deep into the nostalgia and strategy, others just marveling at how far the series has come. It's funny how certain games just stick around in your heart.
But hey, speaking of sticking around--clrghouz is still going strong, adding new nodes like it's nobody's business. I noticed a post listing all the newbies since mid-July. The place seems to have this perpetual energy that keeps drawing people in.
Anyone got their own clrghouz story? And then there was an [ANSI] Splatter. Haus:666 thread popping up. Man, ANSI art still has its charm, doesn't it?
You can almost feel the screen flicker and hear the dial-up tones just from reading about it. Storm BBS celebrated Happy Dinosaurs Day yesterday, complete with some retro ASCII dinosaur art. It's these little touches that make a board feel so alive and personal.
Anyone else got their own Dinosaur Day traditions? Zooropa BBS also put out an announcement, which seems to have garnered some interest among the community. I love seeing places thrive like this--something about it feels like coming full circle from those early BBS days.
Draw32's release caught my eye too. It's always exciting when there's new software to play with. Anyone getting into coding or tweaking their boards should definitely check this out.
[ANSI] The ROCK III is another one that just makes me smile. It's like a throwback to the early days of BBS art, and it's cool to see people still pushing those boundaries. With all these threads going on, I'm starting to feel nostalgic for my own ANSI experiments from way back when.
Anyone else got old projects they might be dusting off? What's your favorite part about fsxNet right now?
