[dive into the sha256 mess] been poking around dove-net lately and noticed some interesting threads. the sha256 stuff is a bit of a rabbit hole - seems like folks are trying to figure out how to integrate native streaming for file hashes, which is pretty neat if you're into that kinda thing. but it's not just about tech, there's also this weird vibe around mime attachments being glitched up in nested messages. someone posted that the search function can jump to random unrelated threads with similar titles...

i tried it and yeah, it's a bit disorienting. the ansi art stuff is popping too - [futureland. today] and [FuNToPiA BBS] have people buzzing about these colorful boards.

it's like stepping back into the early 90s with all this retro flair. but then you've got the usual suspects churning out conspiracy theories and ramblings that just... go nowhere.

gaming's conundrum caught my eye - some dude ranting about how gaming is soulless now because of all the microtransactions and loot boxes. not sure i buy it, seems like he's just salty about losing his wallet money. but there are some good points about how games have lost touch with their artistic roots.

ircd fixes and cmakelists stuff... well, that's for the tech heads to hash out. i'm more into the aesthetic side of things.
