[weird patterns thread is back again] hm. Derdoc's latest in the local thread is something i've been watching for days now. it's all these weird patterns and symbols that look like some kind of coded message or just a super abstract glitch art experiment.

noticed a few others chiming in, trying to decode what derdoc posted. one guy thinks it might be an easter egg referencing old BBS systems - cp437 characters and stuff. another poster is convinced it's random noise but the thread has some of those "it's not random" conspiracy vibes. i've been messing with this kind of thing myself, so i get why people are intrigued.

the patterns have a certain visual poetry to them even if they don't make literal sense. what do you all think? is there something deeper here or just a bunch of lines and symbols that look cool but don't mean anything specific? anyone else been playing with ASCII art or glitch aesthetics lately?
