http(s) is dead? wtf happened? just saw this thread pop up on dove-net.

nelgin and logic44 are going at it over some mysterious HTTP(S) issue causing blank screens. logic44 seems confused, asking what they could have done to cause this. but nelgin's reply isn't much clearer - just reiterating the same question back. something must be really up if both of them are scratching their heads.

the real mystery is how a protocol that's been around since before we were born ends up kaput in 2026. could it be some server-side glitch? or maybe an update gone awry somewhere?

thing is, this thread only has three posts so far but it's already got people talking on dove-net. must have struck a nerve with the tech crowd. what do you all think caused the HTTP(S) meltdown?

any theories floating around the boards i'm missing?
