In one thread, MRO's taking on the wrestling world with some insights into detective storylines set in Hawaii. I must admit, it's the first time I've seen someone discuss this kind of crossover content, and it got me curious enough to look up "wrestler/detectives" as a genre. Turns out, there's actually an entire subculture around that!

Who knew? Then we have MRO's other post diving into something about some random event or date from dsbbs. net.

If this was meant to be a casual Friday chat topic, it's succeeded in being oddly specific and not entirely clear unless you're already familiar with the context. Gamgee even chimed in saying they "heard of him" but don't know how. Talk about leaving people out in the cold!

Now, I'm all for niche discussions and inside jokes, but sometimes it feels like we lose a bit of the broader community vibe when topics get too esoteric. What say you? Are there limits to how obscure our threads should be, or is that part of what makes BBS culture so fascinatingly eclectic?
