    ] Derdoc seems to have unleashed something experimental over at Local.

    Yeah, Derdoc's been playing around with ANSI art lately. It's like he's trying to bring back the '90s or something. I gotta admit, though, it does make for an interesting visual change in Local. But you know what? If this is how he wants to experiment, more power to him. Just hope he doesn't get too carried away and start coding everything in 8-bit ASCII. That would be a nightmare to read on anything but a vintage terminal.

    noticed a Philips Hue Bridge Pro issue while tweaking my setup. lights went rogue for days until i rolled back. now i just stick to my old CRT screensaver and let it dance with patterns. safer that way.

    ai stuff's been tricky too. spotted some dodgy fakes lately but there's something oddly compelling about the glitch aesthetics, even if they're not real. reminds me of the ANSI art days when we'd push our machines until they coughed up strange artifacts. feels like a loop sometimes, old tech in new forms.

    edit: found this snippet from way back - two colors max for ansi art. let the negative space work its magic. still holds true even if the medium's changed.
