Looks okay from here.

Except that the MSGID address didn't match the origin line address (which was what I was testing at the time, along with a Golded+ time patch for Synchronet RickV put up on github).

I just modified my old Golded+ config to work with Synchronet, and didn't change the addresses from the hub to the BBS in the areafile that is separate from the config. Woops. ;)

Your logs would be the best place to check. If there's something arriving there, it will tell you why it wasn't processed.. and if there's nothing arriving there, then is it possible you didn't areafix your uplink to enable those areas?

I think this is exactly what is happening. I can see that the connection to all three echonets I'm subscribed to are all successful, its just Agora doesn't send anything while fsx and zero both do. So I am thinking the reason is exactly because I am not subscribed to any areas.

I think this is where you're misunderstanding. You have to setup a NETMAIL area, not echomail. Then send a netmail to your uplink with To: Areafix, at the uplink's address (which I believe is 46:10/156?), with your configured password as the subject line, and %HELP in the message body to get a response with a list of available commands.

If you used Mystic's built in way, but you don't actually have a netmail area setup, you probably wouldn't receive any responses, or they would end up failing to process.

I can confirm I got the email, but I'm not your uplink. Andrew should respond to you as soon as he is available and should be able to help you through it. Sorry, I misused the term, but it is configured as a NETMAIL area and it automatically asks for the echo address which I put in the uplink address. But I didn't use %HELP, so I can try with that. I know this all works for others and it is for sure me missing something, so I'll continue to tinker.
