On YouTube, there are a lot of videos of people making wine out of
Welches grape juice. Go to the store and get the big jugs of Welches
without any artificial sweetener. Add sugar and yeast. Use an airlock
like you might use for brewing beer. If you use a good type of wine
yeast you can increase the alcohol content. People are amazed at how
good it is. Perhaps there should be a sub devoted to Beer, Wine and Spirits?
I did that back in 1980. I added about 5lbs of sugar to help with fermentation and alcohol content. The end result was.. interesting light blue in color, and tasted like Cold Duck. Had a bit of a secondary fermentation after I bottled it so it was slightly sparkling.I can't even remember 1980. I met a nice jewish girl who had very long curly salt and pepper hair and a dark tan. It was fate and we got married in 1984 just as George Orwell predicted. Anyhow, the Cold Duck sounds great :O

Have you gotten around to trying this? I'm very curious. You probably could....
Also, I wonder if once it's in the form of wine, you could distill it
with one of those stove-top stills into a shot of brandy :).
