    Because at present its the only show in town. The British Government
    sold off the UK competition OneWeb to Eutelsat and they are only now
    offering only high-end expensive solutions because we didn't have any billionaires (insert Branson hate memes at this point) who wanted to
    invest in the UK.

    In much of Scotland mobile coverage is poor, perhaps we should have
    spent some of the cash we got from the Spectrum Auction putting masts in
    rural areas but of course that would spoil the scenery..

    In much of Scotland mobile coverage is poor, perhaps we should have
    spent some of the cash we got from the Spectrum Auction putting masts in rural areas but of course that would spoil the scenery..

    rural coverage for civilian (EE) users? Presumably coverage is needed along rail routes?
