    Although I haven't checked the specifics, it is very likely that, once
    digital switchover is complete, the lease on the Charing exchange will
    be terminated and the first building bigger than a street cabinet will
    be up to an order of magnitude further away. That will probably be case
    for FTTP and FTTC, even now.

    Actually that is low enough usage that some providers will cover it
    under their capped volume rate, rather than their unlimited rate. In
    the case of one of them that makes an extra -u8 reduction in the monthly
    cost. The capped limit is 1GB. I'm not sure if both up and down count,
    but you're under the limit even if both count. (In the case of the one
    I'm thinking of, it is cheaper than their VDSL tariff.)
