• Camera shade?

Can anyone make out what is on the camera visible at about 50" and 1:10
(and _possibly_ 2:42) in this Mimi clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbOtJQMajnY? It looks to be a sort of
    cover at a sloping angle, but the other camera - e. g. at 1:20 - doesn't
    seem to have it.
    Hugely unimportant, I just wondered!
(Seems to be about 3 staff per camera!)

It looks a shade over the viewfinder to prevent glare from the overhead
lights prevent the cameraman seeing his camera output, rather than to
prevent glare on the front lens element.

That makes sense; I thought it looked to be of similar size (area seen
from above) to the whole camera body, but hard to tell in the limited
glimpses we get. Though I'm pretty sure the other camera seen _doesn't_
    have one.

It was a horrible song anyway.

Vignetting, caused by wrong lens or hood over lens.

Yes, much of Mimi's output is dull (I like probably somewhere between
maybe 5% and 25% of it). This was really only of interest to me because
it's from her early career, and also the curiosity value of technology,
as that which prompted this question/thread.>

I don't think fixing that would have made the song any less dull! :-)
