On Sky Mix, they just announced that Star Trek Voyager was coming up.

It had just finished, and Star Trek, The next Generation started as
scheduled.

I think they need to rewrite the playlist in the playout computer, as
I'm sure I've heard the same glitch before.

not wrong, but clearly not read by someone actually watching the output.
(The most irritating being when they announce the next prog. with
evident excitement - when it's one of a block of episodes of the same
prog. that they're showing, and not the first in the block.)

In this case, all the announcements seem to be for the programme that
has just finished, and all the announcememts for the series are identical.

It would seem that someone sat down for a few minutes and rattled off
all the announcements for the channel. They get changed every few weeks.

I've now heard one of the announcements you started this thread with -
Voyager being announced as coming up just as it finished, followed by
TNG as scheduled. Obviously Sky Mix don't read this newsgroup; I guess
one could tweet something if so inclined. I can't be bothered, I think.
