    I've just received an e-mail from Ofcom to say that they were fining
    "The Word Network" a very large sum of money for multiple breaches of
    the rules. The breaches apparently concern the promotion of certain
    products and ministries which could, so the network averred, cure
    serious medical conditions and sort out financial difficulties.

    I'm sorry that a Christian broadcaster has suffered such a substantial
    fine, but at the same time I have little sympathy for them. What they
    are guilty of is unethical and unChristian and we can hope that this experience will make them better, finer broadcasters.
