    Is there a good reason why the National Lottery has started using
    barcodes, when until recently they used Q codes when scanning the
    ticket with a smartphone?

    Wasn't the lottery recently "transferred" from Camelot to A.N.Other
    operator? Probably bringing in their arj systems ...

    They have also stopped sending the 'your ticket has finished' emails
