    Is there a good reason why the National Lottery has started using
    barcodes, when until recently they used Q codes when scanning the
    ticket with a smartphone?

    Yep. Our Ontario Lottery is terrible for that !
    Executives justifying their bloated staff and salaries ..

    Wasn't the lottery recently "transferred" from Camelot to A.N.Other
    operator? Probably bringing in their arj systems ...

    They have also stopped sending the 'your ticket has finished' emails
