Being old and past my prime, IrCOm
Thinking I should not waste time
I made a list of things to do
    Especially what was overdue
Then thought IrCOd work my way through it
    Ticking items bit by bit
But this was sadly not to be
rCycos snookerrCOs back on the TV

If your snooker be on the sports TV
I'll surrender my cleats and helmet and jock
and leave time for the spate of o elbow injury o
    requiring a dedicated snooker Doc.

Same for darts such a docile endeavor
the announcer exerts more effort than the player
But here and now I must confess
    I've watched . . . ladies . . . curling ..

In my defence re : the curling prize
Hurry Hard still gives me a little rise
And the accented shouts of the teams from afar
Make snooker and darts seem a bit of a snore ..

    :-)
