I have been gifted one of these. EUfy G50.
What are the views of those here who have one?

If you read on the web, it suggests you use them every day and back-up
with a conventional vacuum, once a week. Lordy, I don't vacuum once a
week currently.
Is it worth unpacking, or is it off to Ebay?
My view is "unpack it"!
I was given an similar one, (SFP as broken, cleaned charging contacts and it works). As an older model, it goes along until it touches an obstacle, turns a bit, continues. There is a flicky-out brush on mine (and yours, googled it) and it gets into the corners leaving only a small radius of maybe an inch or so. It goes places like under sofas and happily collects dust there. It's pretty good at getting out of "traps". Replacement bushes and filters are *very* cheap from non-OEM suppliers on Amazon with names like "zwzwydvkh". I empty it by dumping the dirt container, then suck the last bit out with the conventional vacuum. Done in 10 seconds. Problem sources are things like long bit of string and thread, carpet and rugs are OK.
It does its job reasonably well, and it does it alone and unsupervised. You can sit and watch as it works, and deconstruct the routing algorithm, or enjoy the warm glow of seeing work being done with no effort on your part. I see the yours
has an app, and you may be able to steer the thing with that. Not particularly useful, but fun.
