Am really sad for him. Hard to be the deputy to the incumbent of a decade, and run on a platform of change. Aka the Kamala problem.

I was also really looking forward to being able to say that my mate
was in charge of ASLEF whenever I heard anyone moan about the trains

I was hoping to announce it on the very gammony UKGSer forum that a BMW R1150GS owner [1] had been elected. Pretty sure he was a registered user
there at some point when he first acquired the bike and had some technical questions. There are a few UKRMers on there but none of them are showing gammony tendencies. Burnt is a bit of a left wing revolutionary for the
    forum consensus.

[1] maybe ex owner, can't remember if he got rid of it when he bought the Husky

I've cancelled my subscription. It's better now I don't get subjected to
the twats in the "beakchat" forum.

it's a sad state of affairs when even Bonwick left when he got fed up of
the porcine cunts ganging up on him when he said something rational.

I mostly stick to the travel threads now, as it remains an excellent
resource to share ideas of places to visit etc.
