Just avoid getting run over by the recovery truck?

Tell you what - why not buy me one of them Panigale V4s? That will help
me be less upright (in one sense or another) and I can give you regular updates on its reliability, right up until my entirely foreseeable
    sudden death.

My local Vertu has franchises for BMW and Ducati. I had great fun
deciding whether I'd go for a Pangale V4 or an M1000RR.

I hadn't realised that 'upright' was referring to the riding/seating
    position.

I had assumed it meant being law-abiding, and was trying to make a
joke about how upright the bike might be when cornering

You evidently don't remember the 1970s and the response to the Honda
slogan "You meet the nicest people on a Honda", which was "You meet the nastiest people on a Triumph". 50 years of Triumph riding later, here I
    still am.
