• A matter of pronunciation

More than a bit on the esoteric side...

I grow an intergeneric hybrid, which is x Mahoberberis aquisargentii.
I've always pronounced this as "cross Mahoberberis aquisargentii". In
fact, with any hybrid - even those within the same genus - if there's an
"x" in the name specifying that it's a hybrid, I pronounce it as "cross".

I also grow a graft chimaera, which is + Laburnocytisus 'Adamii'. I've
never been sure about the correct way to pronounce this, but have
    assumed it's "plus laburnocytisus 'Adamii'".

There's nothing about pronunciation of these in Stern's Botanical Latin,
and nothing much on the internet. The latest version (ninth edition) of
the International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants doesn't
mention pronunciation of these botanical terms. Has anyone ever seen a definitive statement about their pronunciation?

Nothing in my "Collingridge Dictonary of Plant Names" by Allen J Coombes either.
