I'd stopped listening to TA for quite a while because I was bored by it, but have started
listening to the omnibus from to time to occupy myself on my occasional walks which are
good for me but which I hate doing. I'm vaguely up to date with most of the aspects of the
everyday story of country folk which still interest me, but my ghast was a bit flabbered
to hear a) that Phoebe is in Scotland and b) that she will be giving birth in November.
Could somerat kindly fill me in on how she got there, please? Last I heard, she was just
down from Oxford(?) and milling around with no particular ambition.

Also, I really, really, really enjoyed the last sentence of yesterday's omni! --

She was sent to the Far North on some sort of marine job looking after
the sea. She felt it was a better bet than rewilding and it provided
the opportunity for Kirsty to have a new job after moaning about folding towels.

I believe she became pregnant in the normal way. There was talk of a boyfriend, Brody. The baby is due in November and was revealed when
Phoebe popped in at the time of Father Crispin almost getting murdered
by Kate and for Peggy's funeral.

I KNEW when I wrote that that I was asking for similar comments, KRW! Have I also missed a
new priest or is that mention of Father Crispin a separate piece of fiction?

Father Crispin was a stunt casting - Hugh Dennis - whom Peggoi had
demanded take the funeral service and he ran over from Borchester and
was a regular visitor to The Laurels and whom Alan knew. Father Crispin believed in muscular christianity which obviously appealed to the late
Mrs Woolley. Due to his near death experience he was unable to take the funeral service and Alan was eventually prevailed to deputise.

No, I missed Hugh Dennis? How could that happen?

Sad to hear that Prunella Scales has died, hopefully she has was staying in somewhere
similar to The Laurels and had no idea what was going on since her husband died.

The notice issued by the family referred to her passing peacefully at
home having earlier watched an episode of Fawlty Towers.

However I have a feeling I had seen an earlier report that she was
living elsewhere but that is not 100% certain.

She was fading fast and I believe they took her back home at the end.

Having read some more this afternoon she was living at home at least
until the time that Timothy West died so I suspect that she may well
have been at home all the time.
