    RT Review by David Crawford

When Tom throws a spanner in the works of TonyrCOs plans for the tractor
run, Helen suspects the ensuing frosty atmosphere hides an underlying
issue that could scupper Christmas at Bridge Farm.

Meanwhile, Eddie has forced Jazzer (Ryan Kelly) into his plan to drum up turkey sales. With a free bird on offer, Tracy is keen Jazzer sells,
    sells, sells.

The LCD display for my kitchen DAB/FM radio has stopped working. To
find out which station I am listening to I first have to work out what programme I'm listening to.

I turned the set on just after midday and heard some bumbling, wistful
voices reminiscing about the past[1]. Radio 4x on DAB, I confidently
predicted: they are rerunning one of those dramas from the 1950s which
they've been playing a lot recently. So, forgetting that the "new"
Radio 4 schedule must be at least a year old by now, I pressed the
DAB/FM button to go over to R4 for the news.

There was no news. Just someone reading a poem. A very long poem. This
doesn't sound like The Food Programme, I thought, still forgetting the
schedule changes. So I pressed the DAB/FM button and went back to the
50s drama which, it turned out wasn't a fifties drama at all. And when
the characters started talking about tractors and New Year and John,
it all came clear to me.

At least I think it came clear.

Apparently, Lobby Ludd first appeared in August 1927. Using <https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/monetary-policy/inflation/inflation-calculator>,
    5 pounds in 1927 -> 273.99 in November 2025. So yes, a teeny bit!

    Talking of biting coins...
In old films you often had some character bite a coin to (apparently)
    judge if it was genuine.
That character invariably seemed to lack suitable dentition for the job.

Quite apart from the fact that pure gold is hard and tough (in the
