    I always use to get a couple of extra bhp in misty conditions back in
    the day of NA petrol /carbs and mechanical ignition

    When I worked for a car manufacturer in a earlier life, one of my jobs
    was to calculate what weight of trailer our cars could tow up what
    gradient at various altitudes.

    Being 10,000 feet up an Alp degraded the towing performance dramatically.
