    Deuteronomy 21:10-14 KJV
10 =e2C=9cSuppose you go out to war against your enemies and the LORD your God hands them over to you, and you take some of them as captives. 11 And
suppose you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you are attracted
to her and want to marry her. 12 If this happens, you may take her to your home, where she must shave her head, cut her nails, 13 and change the clothes she was wearing when she was captured. She will stay in your home, but let
her mourn for her father and mother for a full month. Then you may marry her, and you will be her husband and she will be your wife. 14 But if you marry
her and she does not please you, you must let her go free.
You may not sell her or treat her as a slave, for you have humiliated her.

Now this Commandment of Moses in the Law ordained by angels' order (Acts 7:53). But this is in direct opposition of what made Nehemiah bitter when the Israelites married demon-worshipping women immediately after the Babylon captivity (essentially meaning that they took no lesson from seventy years in Babylon).
    What is wrong with this?
    1. Cutting the hair and nails doesn't remove sins like idol worship and witchcraft. Confession, conversion, or baptism and animal sacrifice were not required. Virginity was not required? It might be implied in the verse "she should mourn for father and mother [but not her husband]", but this was obviously subject to misinterpretation.
Coming from Canaanite nations, those women and girls preserved their worship
of Astoreth (female fertility and sanctified Temple prostitution), Baal (male fertility, stamina and sanctified male-to-male Temple prostitution) and
Molech (mostly firstborn child sacrifice after ritual "walk through fire").
The exception is Ruth who came from Moab, accepting God of her mother-in-law Noemi. Moab apparently worshipped Chemosh, which was associated with war, fertility and planet Venus.
But Ruth became wife of Boaz, father of Obed, father of Jesse, and great- grandfather of king David.
Otherwise, the line of righteous Lot would be broken completely, but Ruth's faith and conversion made it possible for Lot to be an ancestor in David's line.
Boaz was son of Salmon and Rahab the harlot (who hid the spies of Israelites
in Jericho, Matthew 1:5), but he could not find an Israelite wife despite his mother's war credit, so he appreciated widowed converted foreign woman.
But noteworthy is that this Commandment emphasised "beautiful woman among
the captives", not virgin (Hebrew: alma). In pagan nations and in communism
of some countries I will not name for political correctness sake, it was common that girls would sell for beauty, or for "good legs".
You will see this for yourself if a large group or population of females has, for example, identical legs.
Normally, a knower of women will discern between several types: slender,
strong from work, athletic, or other.
In God's Creation, of course, strength comes through diversity.
But as Nehemiah condemned Israelites because of this, and Jeremiah 8:8 warns about the "lying pen of the scribe", this Commandment might have been inserted after Nehemiah.
I assume that Moses must have known that attractive women bring a host of unnecessary maintainance, and keeping other males off of them becomes center
    of husband's life.
Similar thing happened - for example - in mass conversion of Latin America through Conquistadors, rather than through evangelisation. Some very evil forms of witchcraft persisted despite the Church baptism, and a lot of false miracles,
with fake blood on statues of saints which the through investigation had proven as such.
Evangelisation through preaching was the preferred means of converting Gentiles (Greek: ethne) in the time of the apostle Paul and the first church.
    Romans 10:17 KJV
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
    Galatians 3:2 KJV
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Apostle Paul had problems with Galatians, because they received faith by a miracle
of God in Jesus Christ, and later came some from "circumcision" and "bewitched" the disciples into obeying Law, and reducing faith to a set of rules.
This is not the isolated example of mind control and manipulation in the church:
in Lystra, the people wanted to sacrifice bull to Paul and Barnabas, thinking they
are gods, after they did a miracle to a paralysed man.
They have made it very clear they are not gods, tearing their robes asunder - but
this left the room for people to stone them soon afterwards, under the mind control
of those from "circumcision". They were known to rise mobs in mutiny and use people
as talking sockpuppets, not repenting to present day.
Now, is this the Spirit of God in action?
    2 Corinthians 3:17 KJV
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
Authority in Christ and submission to authority of God actually protects us from
manipulation of the forces of Satan the Devil and his demons.
The second observation by the prophet was the
    Micah 3:3 KJV
    Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them;
and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot,
and as flesh within the caldron.
    Hosea 4:8 KJV
They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity. This translated to modern English would mean that sin makes us less courageous, more prone to manipulation, Machine of war and mind programming, and more likely
to needlessly perish in "human waves".
Apostle Paul warned that he who joins with a harlot becomes "one flesh with harlot",
and where will the soul remain having died after that without deliverance of the
Holy Spirit - this is speculative trust in grace of God.
in the LORD God Creator of the Universe, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Maker of Adam and Eve,
Almighty (El-Shaddai), Merciful, Longsuffering (Slow to anger),
    All-Seeing (El-Roi), All-Hearing (Yishma-el), All-Knowing (El-Deowt),
in the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth and
in the Holy Ghost of God holy name
    Amen
