shouted a yoga teacher from Iisalmi and bit a police officer - resisting
a corona test resulted in a conditional sentence
The incident occurred during the coronavirus pandemic in early 2021. The District Court convicted the woman of violently resisting an official
and attempting to endanger her health.
The North Savo District Court has sentenced an entrepreneur from Iisalme
to seven months of suspended imprisonment. The woman resisted a corona
test in March 2021 and was found guilty of violently resisting an
official and attempting to endanger her health.
The police asked an entrepreneur to assist with a corona test at Iisalmi Regional Hospital.
A mass exposure to the coronavirus and subsequent infections had been detected at the woman's yoga studio. The entrepreneur did not
voluntarily undergo a corona test and refused to provide the police with information about those who may have been exposed to the virus.
When the police came to pick up a woman from her friend's apartment in Vierem|n, the woman struggled and bit another police officer on the thumb.
