foul Baltics, too, from what I've heard--were consummate ass-kickers,
big time. They raided/killed/enslaved in a great joyous celebration of testosterone and aggression.
Then about 1100-1300 years ago their collective carpal bones began to
soften and go limp until they became as we see them today. It's an historical mystery.
No scholars seem to know *why* this is. Some speculate that they allowed their women--always vocal, pushy, and empowered to an unwarranted
degree--to emasculate them at birth; a sort of radical circumcision.

Other scholars--and I favor these--postulate that the introduction of Christianity acted in the same way that graphite control rods, when
inserted into a nuclear reaction chamber, dampen the reaction.
