Cameroon failing to qualify for the World Cup should be as rare as
Uruguay or Argentina or Italy or Germany failing to qualify. Unless
my perception of Cameroon's potential has been overly influenced by
all that stuff I've read in the past about Africa being the future of football and people predicting an African team would win the World
Cup by 2000 etc, Cameroon's record since 2010 is pathetic!

    What's going wrong?

Or have I been overly influenced by those predictions of African
football being great in the future and it's me overestimating our
    potential?

Just thought I'd bump this now Real Mardin is back in case he's got
    anything to say about it.

Also, why isn't Vincent Aboubakar or Nicolas Nkoulou in Cameroon's
    current squad?

Please, not so soon after the double of blow of failing to qualify for
the 2026 World Cup and AFCON elimination. It's just too hurtful :(
