After close to 1/3 of the season (12 games), the league is closer than
you might expect given the disparity in total points between the better
    teams and the weaker ones.

    Current standings

    B&W Propagandists 27 points (9 wins 3 losses)
    CanyonAlsorans 24 points (8 wins 4 losses)
Blueshirts 18 points (6 wins 6 losses) in spite of the second
best points total of 677 points
    Murphy's son in law 13 (total 588)
    SerieA rejects 13 (total 537)
    CanyonFC 12 (580)

My team that does not allow players from Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool,
Arsenal, Man City, and Newcastle is doing worse (in both leagues) than
my unrestricted team. Not the first time that has happened. I keep
leaving too many points on the bench. If there is a choice to make, I
get it wrong. In spite of last week's respectable total of 66 points
for Canyon Alsorans, and a victory over CanyonFC, I had Pickford (10
pts) and Tarkowski 8 points on the bench. Could have had 75 instead.

This week features two matchups between me and Daniele - a top of the
table clash between Alsorans and B & W, and a bottom two clash as well.
    May the worst team win.

In the RSS classic league, Mark my Wirtz has a healthy lead of 28 points
over Daniele's B&W propagandists. Mark my Wirtz is managed by Bilal
Zaidi, who I am pretty sure is Alkamista. I wonder what he thought
about Liverpool's season last year, and then what is happening this
year. No Liverpool players in his lineup, but then again, Blueshirt is
not very heavy on Chelsea players either (only Caicedo).

    We all do!!!

You have to play these type of games with your head not your
heart. When Cole Palmer is fully fit, I will try and slot him
    back in though.

My NHL Fantasy Stars line-ups generally don't include NYR
players either on the night's they are playing. (That's a daily
fantasy game, not weekly.) So it's all about getting points and
I know there are often better players on the teams that I don't
    support.

Doing better, you meant? Serie A Rejects are having a dreadful season,
on the other hand. Salah being washed doesn't help their cause.

So far, so good for Team Futbolmetrix
