This is a great twist... I wish I had come up with it.
Where does the name Knark come from?

    The easiest problems would be:

    O says I am a Knight
    A says 1+2=3, and 2+2=4
    B says I am a Knark and I am a Knark
    C says 1+2=3, and I am a Knark
    D says I am a Knight, and I am a Knark

Here are some more Knark puzzles. To save
bandwidth, problems are all very similar, but
solutions and deduction processes are dissimilar.

    Puzzle 1
    ---------
Inspector Poirot checked his messages one morning
and was disappointed to see that there had been no
homicides during the night. He was so desperate
for a puzzle he almost tried the Sudoku in the newspaper
but instead hopped in his helicopter and went to visit
his friend Merowig, the Sheriff of Logician's Island.

``Any murder mysteries for me?'' he asked hopefully.
``No'', Merowig answered, ``but let me introduce you
to Abner, Billy, Clarissa, Daphne, and Edmund, each of
whom is a Knight, Knave or Knark. I'll let them
    tell you which is which.''

    Abner said
    (a) ``Billy is a Knark.''
    (b) ``Daphne is a Knave.''
    Billy said
    (c) ``Daphne is a Knark.''
    (d) ``Edmund is a Knave.''
    Clarissa said
    (e) ``Abner is a Knark.''
    (f) ``Billy is a Knark.''
    Daphne said
    (g) ``Edmund is a Knark.''
    (h) ``Clarissa is a Knave.''
    Edmund said
    (i) ``Abner is a Knight.''
    (j) ``Clarissa is a Knark.''

Could Poirot determine which tribe each of the five
    islanders was from? Can you?

    Puzzle 2
    ---------
Same as Puzzle 1, but change (b) to
    (b) ``Clarissa is a Knave.''

    Puzzle 3
    ---------
Same as Puzzle 1, but change (i) to
    (i) ``Abner is a Knave.''

    Puzzle 4
    ---------
Same as Puzzle 1, but change (i) to
    (f) ``Billy is a Knight.''

    Puzzle 5
    ---------
Same as Puzzle 1, but change (d) to
    (d) ``Edmund is a Knight.''

    Puzzle 6
    ---------
Same as Puzzle 1, but change (h) to
    (h) ``Abner is a Knave.''

    F says O is a Knave, and I am a Knark
    G says A is a Knight, and I am a Knark
    H says A is a Knight, and G is a Knark

    etc.
