I'm embarrassed I didn't just do this right away.-a Couldn't have been easier.-a Only positive thing about not doing it was I at least learned about the diesel particulate filter.
The hardest part of the whole thing was getting the rubber stick on
plugs into the grommets on the panel.-a Once you get them in, it does
stick very good even to a cold window.-a Very overcast here today, but
it immediately turned on when faced upright, and if you turn it down
away from the light it goes off.-a So I know it is working.
Two pictures.-a The outside view shows how small it is and easy to get
on the window.-a The inside shows the little green light that goes on
when it is charging.-a Stays green when charging and blinks when
charging is full.-a It stops at 13.5 volts, and when battery gets down
to 13 Volts it restarts.
I anticipate taking this with when we go out because if we're set up
for even a week somewhere that might be enough to draw down the
battery so it wouldn't start.-a Eliminating that concern is a very good thing.-a This was a very affordable solution to the battery issue.

Tell me again (URL) which one that is. Does it need any additional

Nothing else needed.-a It also has an adapter that could have been
plugged into an interior cig lighter, but I don't think any of my
power plugs work with the ignition off.

I got a notification tonight from the Mercedes App that the battery is extremely low and they were shutting off some of the functions of the
app, or something like that.-a It was very overcast and probably didn't
get much charge today, but it is still crazy that in one week you can
get stranded.-a The app told me to take it out and drive it for over a
half hour.-a HA!
Tomorrow I'll put a volt meter on it and see if it went up at all and
go from there.-a I might also have to use a regular tender for the day
to try and get it back up.-a I think the one I have is 2 amps which is
about twice the power I think.-a Or, I might just start it if possible again. Still can't take it out for a spin yet.
