Don't know how to make a vegetable salad even more nutritious? Add low-fat cheese - feta or brynza - to the list of ingredients. The salad will transform and become even tastier and healthier.

You can safely add ground nuts to vegetable salads. They perfectly pair with this type of food. Moreover, nuts are rich in polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, which are precisely the "healthy fats".

A little sugar in the dressing of oil and vinegar will give the salad a special taste.

    Bon appetitrYnN+A

Gee. When I was a teenager it was my job to tear the iceburg lettuce,
add cherry tomatoes and sliced cucumbers and then mix the salad dressing (olive oil and vinegar with a packet of Wishbone herbs & spices) to
drizzle over the salad. Shook it up in a container I still have. Oh, sometimes we added toasted bread croutons to the salad. Don't recall
adding cheese but hey, we didn't have Mummy's salad expertise. LOL
