• I went to church tonight

Yes, I went, but did not go inside.

The local Catholic church has a fish fry on Friday during Lent, so, I
have a a try. It was very good.

Nice setup that has been perfected over some years. They do have some
outdoor seating but the vast majority is take out. You pull in, a guy
takes your order, puts a numbered card on the widow. directs you to
parking. When your order is ready, they bring it to the car and you pay.

I got the standard fish dinner. It was french fries, from frozen, two
nice sized pieces of white fish breaded and fried. In the box was
tarter sauce, ketchup and cole slaw.

The only down side, in a closed container, ten minutes from home, it
does lose some of the crispy texture. If I get it again, I'll put it in
the air fryer for a few minutes to refresh it.

Ok, but you should know that her Majesty, queen McCrone does not endorse
    air fryers.

THAT is why I never get fish dinners or sandwiches to go. I must admit
I'd never thought of using the air fryer to perk it back up, good tip!!

A *convection oven*, which is all that the misnamed "air fryer" is,
    would be ideal for that.

There you are! I figured my reply to Ed would have you crawling out of
    the woodwork.

Either appliance would work great. You're welcome.

Aside from your hang up with the name, it out performs a typical
    convection oven.

Sister Dave said the same thing. Ed's comment was stupid. Comparing the difference to a Harley and a bicycle is bogus. If he'd said a Harley and
a 250cc enduro, OK, but it was just stupid. Don't you have some canned
pears and cottage cheese to gum down, you old thing?

Nope, he stated it perfectly, but your ego won't let you admit he gave you
the perfect smackdown to your stupid statement. You can't stand being bested, can you?

Let Betsy put that new pizza rocker through some testing. Lie down on a table and let her try it out on your neck.
