Remember when I ordered that bag of whole bean Tim Horton coffee around
the first of August 2025? I sealed the entire bag in a vacuum bag when
it arrived as I was not ready to use it. In the last several days I've
been grinding the beans each morning and having a mug and it's quite
good. But of course, grinding as much as I want fresh each day probably
is better than what I'd get if I got a cup at their single location here
in Nashville.
For those sitting on the edge of their chairs, I'll soon be reporting on
the Amazon bag I got at the same time and sealed it as well. The price
of each was quite agreeable was why I decided to try them and so far, no disappointment.

I found TH coffee to be on the harsh side. Right now, I'm drinking Trader Joe's
instant coffee from individual packets. This type of coffee is popular in places
like Japan, Korea, and Vietnam. I don't know why, perhaps they don't have fast
automatic drip machines in these places. Typically, they'll come with sugar and
creamer along with instant coffee. It only makes 4 to 6 oz of coffee and it comes
out kind of weak. I suppose it'll do fine if you're at work and used to coffee
that's so-so.
Does TH stand for Trader Hoe?

Thankfully, I have the grind just right, so the coffee is not too
strong nor too harsh.
If the instant coffee is too weak, I'd just add a bit less water.

That's true but I'm only filling my cup halfway i.e., 4 oz. Making even less makes
me sad. Luckily, it's my daughter's stash and I don't have to deal with it. These
packets are made in Korea and not made for Americans. This brand is made for Americans but it seems awful expensive.

If it gets too expensive, I might have to switch to prole coffee too.
I guess that if I add enough skimmed milk powder, I won't be able to
tell the difference. Hell, it could even be tea.
