Ice Cream and Strawberries tonight

We've discussed the sad state of commercial strawberries in the past.
This week though, they were BOGO and looked better than average. No
white tops, all red, so I took a chance. Nice size, picture perfect on
the outside but as usual, could be riper.
While not the best, cut up and sugared, they are decent after sitting
for a day. Tonight's snack was Haagen Dazs vanilla bean ice cream with strawberries. I'll do it again tomorrow too.
