From Newsgroup: rec.bicycles.tech

I've got two bicycles with very stale California bicycle
registration stickers. They're linked to a former address,
only a few blocks away but out of date by more than ten
years. Phone number is still the same but I don't recall
if my phone was part of the registration process.

A visit to the LBS got me a pair of bikeindex.org stickers.

The utility of bikeindex.org is unknown to me, does anybody
have experience, good or bad, with the outfit? It's unclear
how the business model works, so I'm dubious whether it's
just another data mining outfit.
