    An israeli drone strike killed two cyclists in Gaza, according to this
    story.

    Aren't we glad we don't have to worry about drones, tanks, snipers and
    land mines? well, some of the roads around here in Santa Cruz County look
    like they've been repeatedly shelled.....

    We had drone incursions across the border at El Paso today.



    [Correction / Update]

    FAA shut down all air traffic (commercial flights, civil
    aircraft and medical air ambulances) in a 10 mile radius of
    El Paso on Wednesday, as I noted above. The report
    referenced Mexican cartel drones in US airspace.

    I see in today's paper that the nearby Ft Bliss is testing
    high energy laser systems against the frequent Mexican
    cartel drones in that area. But the radar signature was
    misread and it turns out they were tracking a mylar balloon.
    That report was either unclear to FAA or misunderstood,
    resulting in the erroneous air stop order.


    p.s. As I often note, if government were either honest or
    competent we wouldn't hate them so.
