    Agreed.

Motorcycles are fine things - if ever i were to own one, I'd
    be torn between a 1947 Knucklehead and a 1948 Panhead - but
they are not at all bicycles.

This is a promotional article that essentially disparages a straw
    man.

Yes, I think so too, for online anonymous comments.

For newspapers, I have noticed that the best stories are in
Obituaries and the best writing is in Letters.

I have not read those comments yet and do not intend to do so.

Personally, I have three different reasons for my rejection of
E-bikes, as these are sold and used here in Germany and those
European countries that I visited by bike

    - E-bikes with a speed limit of 25 km/h have been officially
    equated with bicycles by law

    - People (mis-)using a nearby recreational area with is also a
nature conservation area by MTB now have switched to E-MTB,
    tripling their destruction power

    - E-bikes are advertised and sold to the general public as
bicycles, using the misleading argument that riding an e-bike has
all the benefits attributed to bicycles: riding them keeps you
    fit and healthy.

I just don't care about internal disputes about how off-road
sports involving motorised two-wheelers are organised.

Good points all. Those, and a full spectrum from the
ultraviolet to the infrared, are covered in the reader
