Well the bring winter storm came late last night to middle county. We
got 4 inches of snow and nasty cold winds. Not deliverable but best to
stay in. So did the 2 hour indoor trainer 33 miles normalized power at
130 watts. Manage 143 for one 20 minute period.

Then while the early did the grocery trip getting low on bread and need
a few other things. Great time to go to Walmart at 10am in busting cold
and snow on Sunday. Nobody much in the place. A 12 pack of Youngling
Lager a decent beer really for someone like me who is a beer judge and
beer snob. It is far from anything great but nothing at all wrong with
the beer. They had some chicken pot-stickers I wanted to try I get the
other brand at Sams Club. Some chicken breast and I am set I hope.

I think depending on your location it was not nearly as bad as they said
but in a few spots the weather was horrible. Probably most in places
that do no see the cold, blowing snow much like Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Up where Andrew is nothing much after all it is January and winter.

Bottom line is if you road outside today you be one tough human and well acclimated.

Rather nicer weather in uk, has been rather wet, but had a fairly sunny
weekend so had a ride around Hindhead and went past the Atlantic wall where
the Canadian troops practiced for D day plus where Skyfall (James Bond) was filmed.

One of my riding companions after the cafe stop, managed to fall into the flooded stream and empty his frame bag into said stream, so had a number of middle aged men fishing for van keys, his phone, glasses etc! All found but fairly hilarious at the time!

Luckily was near the end so was back to the van for them and the warm.

looks like we got about 2 feet of snow, versus a prediction of 18+". Not
quite a record breaker but pretty damn close. I'm going to be digging
out for a few hours.
