• Protective Frame Pads for 2.25" Tubing?

Hi guys... I haven't posted here in a *long* time.

I'm searching for a frame pad that will work with a 2.25" top tube.
"Blue Lug" makes one I really like, but the tarrifs and international
shipping drive the price up well beyond reason. Color doesn't matter.

    Any ideas?

(Somebody told me to get a bike with a smaller top tube... makes
sense, when you think about it.)

It's a piece of pipe insulation covered in whatever you find
    attractive, vinyl or cloth usually.

A cover is easily sewn and usually has a velcro edge but I
have seen them in foam insulation wrapped with duct tape.

Hay, Muzi... we're planning a summer vacation to Madison and points thereabouts. We have a new Bike Friday tandem that travels with us.

I saw that one on Etsy and wrote the seller; he sez it's 1.5" ID.

But I'm putting "bicycle" into all of my searching. If I call my
subject a "Roll Bar Pad" for a dune buggy, it opens the options up significantly.

Yessir; however, my motto is never to do something the easy, obvious
way when, with a little imagination, I can turn it into a *much* more
    difficult problem.
