I am very pro-cyclists being able to run red lights IF it is completely safe. But whatg I have seen lately is bicycles cutting off cars with right of way. The same with stop signs. I was being given a cheaper medication that interfered with my attention and I'm sorry to say that I cut cross traffic off and was only saved by the drivers good attention.
It was quite an ordeal but I finally managed to get the correct medication prescribed that didn't interfere with my attention span and I have also always been much more careful at stop signs.
But I have watched bicycle riders riding right across heavy cross traffic and even in front of cops with no reaction from the police.
