    Hahahahahaha

The unmitigated greed! Where are James Garner and Jonathan Pryce when
    you need them?

Larry Ellison offered $31 a share for the whole company, which sounds
like the previously announced split won't happen. Netflix was buying the studio, HBO, and not much else. Netflix has wisely stepped back.

Ellison isn't sitting on this cash; no one is. He's getting some from
his Middle Eastern oil buddies. Henry Kravis cannot float this much juni
    bond equity.

Netflix wanted to stop producing theater-worthy movies to keep
subscribers at home, watching more tv.
