Adding insult to injury for the beloved KTLA anchors who were fired
without warning rCo as they also werenrCOt afforded the chance to say
goodbye to their beloved viewers.
Carlos Herrera, one of the remaining KTLA staffers addressed the awkward
news on air Thursday while sitting from the anchor desk.
rCLBefore we move on this morning, we want to acknowledge some news that
broke yesterday that effects all of us here at KTLA, you may have heard
that a number of our beloved colleagues have been laid off. As you
probably know, we are extremely limited in what we can say,rCY Herrera
said while looking into the camera.
rCLThis is a difficult time for us, and we will go through it together,rCY Herrera said. rCLBut we also have a job to do, and that is to bring you
the news that you needrCaBut please know that our colleagues and our
friends are in our thoughts as we move forward,rCY he added.
Veteran anchors Glen Walker and Lu Parker, weather anchor Mark Kriski, meteorologist Kacey Montoya, and reporter Ellina Abovian were among
those who were shockingly fired by the company earlier this week.
There's nothing shocking about it at all. KTLA has their nose so far up
Karen Bass's ass that there simply wasn't room for all of them. Some
had to go.
If ANYBODY should have been fired, it was that dumb ugly latina pig
Jimenez.
